Working on this week
I have had a short week this week, spending the first couple of days at the beach :)
Much of the rest of the week has been taking up working through the strategic plans and corporate reports I have on at the moment. One has gone off to print, two still on the go. I am happy with how these are progressing though, particularly given the quite tight timeframes.
I have also been finalising the cycling kit designs I mentioned a couple of weeks ago – applying the new design direction across the kit range. So far these seem to have been really well received by the group which is great. What else.?...interactive PDF forms have been testing my patience.
Christmas is fast approaching so naturally I am also working on a client Christmas card – a nice chance to experiment with some hand drawn type. That reminds me, I really need to get something done for Thought & Process...
The portfolio class I teach at Billy Blue came the end this week with final folio presentations. The results were great–we have some real shining stars in the group. I was particularly happy with the diversity, especially given the students often work to the same briefs. I looking forward to seeing what the guys do next (feeling proud)...
Cracking new Irish folk from Lynched (Cold Old Fire), rediscovering Sam Duckworth's (Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly) solo stuff, sneak peak at new Underworld material which is exciting, local talent Wafia....oh and getting a bit of Danzig in for good measure.
That's it or this week, have a great weekend
